Tell us a little about yourself.
I am a maker, creative entrepreneur & mother of four, currently on a journey of self re-discovery!
My kids are Judah 7, Nali & Echo 2, and Amanu 9 months
How do you Kibou?
My Kibou is always on my waist. Sage green is my go-to Kibou color; it blends so well with the earth tones and neutral colors I regularly wear.
What’s usually in your Kibou?
I always have a snack of some sort (usually a granola bar), hand sanitizer, chapstick, mask, bank card, ID, headphones, sunglasses, dog poop bags and baby wipes.
What’s the most unexpected thing you’ve ever packed in your Kibou?
I'm surprised that I've packed a fancy lipstick in my Kibou 1.because I actually did something deserving of fancy lipstick and 2.because that’s when I realized that--dressy or casual--my Kibou is now my go-to carry-all of choice!
Best place to wear your Kibou?
The car, I just move the bag up so I can safely wear a seatbelt.
Does your partner Kibou too?
I'm sure he would if I let him! LOL
Anything else to add?
Being a business owner, I fully understand the power of supporting small businesses. Kibou bags are impeccably designed, and the company is brilliantly run!
Yhanni, we’re so grateful that part of the journey of building our business is connecting with mama entrepreneurs like you.
Although Kibou is based in New York and Mama Makers Collective in California, if 2020 has taught us anything it’s that building a community with like-minded women who seek to build one another up doesn’t depend on physical proximity. Now more than ever, connectedness is all about mutual support and admiration, no matter the distance.
While Covid may have put a pause on the Mama Makers Collective in-person events, they now offer virtual workshops. Check out their next offerings on their Instagram or website.
