To us, Kibou is more than just a bag, it represents a mindset, a way of life. Kibou is not just about showing up for our families, it’s also about showing up for ourselves. 

In the process of trying to be the best moms we can be, it can sometimes feel like we’re losing ourselves. Each of us is endlessly busy, making time and energy finite resources we hope to spend wisely. 

Striking the perfect balance between superhero mom and badass individual can feel a bit like chasing a unicorn. There seems to be a near-constant battle between being on-point with our little ones and having the energy left over to feel inspired to be our best selves. 

While we set out to create a bag that made it easier to simply enjoy your family, our focus has always been on you. Your presence, your peace of mind, your confidence.

Just as we strove to bring you a product that made you look good and feel good while giving you the freedom to focus on your little ones, we wholeheartedly believe that we don't have to sacrifice who we are to give our children the best. Instead, we believe that by being our best selves and showing up for us, we’re better for them. 

To that end, we are deeply committed to never losing that sense of purpose, curiosity, and wanderlust that makes us us, and makes us Kibou.

While showing up for yourself means something different to everyone, here at Kibou we value the doers, the givers, the believers, and the risk-takers. After all, we are moms who saw the need for something, took that idea, and made it happen. For ourselves and for all of you.

Creating Kibou was a way of showing up for ourselves, but it’s success was built by the strength of our community.  A community of moms, business people, entrepreneurs, and rock stars who made it their mission to show up for themselves and simultaneously supported and uplifted one another. Who they are, and what they achieve is the magic and energy that fuels us.
